A general assumption is that if parents prioritise kids emotional wellbeing, it compromises discipline. And if they have fun, serious learning cannot take place. While this approach has its perks, it compromises development of social-emotional wellbeing, confidence, self worth, and self esteem - and most of all, their curiosity!
